Hook, Line, and Sinker
by Tessa Bailey finished on 4/8
This is the second in a series that takes place here in Washington state, over on the coast.
The first one was rather fun, as we drive through Westport on some of our adventures. I expected to like the second one even better because I preferred the character of Hannah to Piper. It did not disappoint on that part.
This is a typical romance, of the "forbidden" trope. Hannah falls for her sister's boyfriend's best friend, a typical man-whore type.
It was a shame that this book did not come with a playlist although I found several online that would have worked nicely. When a character has this close of a relationship with music there is no reason that each chapter shouldn't have its own song.
This ends exactly as is expected. However, the epilogue had some MAJOR issues.
1) Puyallup is NOT halfway between Seattle and Westport. Perhaps DuPont, Lacey, Olympia, or even Tacoma, but driving out to Puyallup from the I-5 corridor is a bit ridiculous.
2) Moose. We do NOT have moose in this area!!! There are no moose out in Puyallup!!! WTF????
