The Pasha of Cuisine
by Saygin Ersin finished 4/2
I chose this book because it filled the category of being a Middle Eastern inspired fantasy. While this was definitely Middle Eastern, and it had fantasy elements, it also didn't read as a fantasy.
The descriptions were beautiful, which kept me going during long periods of wondering exactly what was happening. I found myself referring back to the book description entirely too often, which is not my favorite thing.
All in all, this was an excellent book, especially stylistically.
