I have already read the first two books in this series. I am not sure that anyone should read this without having read the first two in the series but it could be a stand-alone book if you don't want much background information on some of the other characters.

This book concentrates on the widower Wilder Brother, Clark, and a local wedding planner, Jessa. It uses the typical trope of fake dating but for unusual reasons, 1) because her ex-husband is a douche-canoe and was with his new GF in front of her immediately post-divorce and 2) to help Clark's family believe he was working through his grief.

The characters were great, the fears actually made sense, and it tugged at my heart. I recommend this for someone looking to enjoy a romance without having to think too hard.
